Coveside Barred Owl House

The Barred Owl is slightly larger than a barn owl and sounds like a typical "hoot owl." This Barred Owl house from Covedside Conservation can be mounted high in a tree with the two metal hangers.  An excellent habitat for these highly valued, rodent-eaters, this habitat includes a side clean-out and wood chips.  Bottom of side opens for ease in cleaning. Drainage holes in the floor and slanted roof keeps the interior dry. Side ventilation helps maintain proper temperature for owlets.  Hand crafted in Maine of sustainably grown Eastern White Pine.
